Level 3 First Aid at Work Course. Work-based training at your workplace. You complete this first aid at work qualification while in your job role, with your employer's support. The course covers two units and typically takes around 150 days. It prepares you to act as a designated first aider in your workplace, responding to injuries and medical emergencies. A level 3 first aid at work certificate is recognised by employers across most sectors as the standard for appointed workplace first aiders.

What you will learn
You'll learn how to assess an emergency situation and make it safe.
You'll learn how to manage an unresponsive casualty, including CPR and the use of an AED.
You'll learn how to treat wounds, bleeding, and shock.
You'll learn how to respond to choking in adults and children.
You'll learn how to recognise and manage common medical conditions such as heart attack, stroke, and seizure.
You'll learn how to treat fractures, burns, and eye injuries.
You'll learn how to keep accurate records of first aid incidents.
How you will learn
Training is delivered in your workplace. The course is structured across two units. Assessment includes practical demonstrations of first aid skills and a knowledge-based element to confirm your understanding. You'll be assessed on your ability to carry out first aid procedures correctly and safely.
