Level 3 Diploma Aromatherapy Course in Derby. Classes run at The White Rose School of Beauty Derby, full-time during the day. Funding options are available and will be discussed at interview, so fees may or may not apply depending on your circumstances. The course covers the skills and knowledge needed to work as an aromatherapist, from blending and applying essential oils to understanding their therapeutic effects on the body. You'll need a Level 2 qualification in complementary therapy, or you may be assessed through a skills test and interview. The course runs over 90 hours.
Who this course is for
This qualification is designed for learners aged 16 years or over and will support you to gain employment as an aromatherapist, as the units contained in this qualification cover all the skills and knowledge required for this role.

Entry onto this qualification can be via previous attainment of a Level 2 qualification in complementary therapy and/or a successful skills test and interview.

How you will learn
You'll study in a classroom and practical therapy environment at The White Rose School of Beauty Derby. Learning combines hands-on treatment practice with underpinning theory. Assessment includes practical observations of treatments carried out on clients, written assignments, and knowledge tests. You'll be assessed against the standards set by VTCT throughout the course.
