Level 3 Assessor Course. Work-based training at your workplace. You train while you assess real learners in your current role, making this a practical qualification you earn on the job. The course takes around 6 months to complete. It covers assessing occupational competence in the workplace and assessing vocational skills, knowledge, and understanding in other settings such as workshops and classrooms. This makes it useful for teachers delivering vocational qualifications like BTEC Firsts and Nationals, as well as workplace assessors.
Who this course is for
The Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement is for those who assess both occupational competence in the work environment and vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in environments other than the workplace (eg a workshop, classroom or other training environment). These qualifications would be helpful for teachers in schools who deliver vocational qualifications with applied learning, such as BTEC Firsts and Nationals.
