Level 2 Welding Course in Blackpool. Classes run at Bispham Campus, two evenings a week over 35 weeks. Evening welding classes make it possible to fit this level 2 welding qualification around work or other commitments. The course is highly practical and covers MMA Welding, Metal Arc Gas Shielded (MAGS), and Tungsten Arc Gas Shielded (TAGS) welding processes, alongside welding science, calculations, and health and safety. The course typically takes one year part-time.

Who this course is for

Course Overview Improve or develop key welding skills with the Level 2 Certificate in Welding Practice. Delivered over 2 evenings a week for 35 weeks, this highly practical programme covers areas such as MMA Welding, Metal Arc Gas Shielded and Tungsten Arc Gas Shielded, as well as science, calculations and health and safety. Ideal for trainees or new graduates, those looking to change careers and current welders looking to upskill, the programme leads to full ABC certification. Successful candidates could then develop their welding skills further by progressing to either the BS4872 Testing or to one of our other welding programmes.

All applicants are invited to an initial IAG (Information, Advice and Guidance) session before the course begins.
