Level 2 MMA Welding Course in Northampton. Evening mma welding classes run at Northampton College, part-time over 9 weeks. Funding may be available for learners aged 19 or over, depending on age and qualifications already held. Fees may apply for others. You'll work on a welding process chosen with your tutor at the start of the course, producing welds in flat and horizontal positions. You must bring your Level 1 pass certificate to enrolment, and all students are interviewed before the course begins.
Who this course is for
This evening based course will provide a City and Guilds 3268 Level 2 VRQ in a number of welding processes, each process to be chosen by the candidate, at the outset of the course.
It should be noted that the course fee, registration and certification fee covers only one welding process. Students who successfully complete one process within the 15 weeks are able to pay a fee to register for an additional process.
During this course you will be able to:
produce welds in either flat/horizontal or vertical
work with specified materials, thicknesses and tolerances
produce flat plate and cylindrical

You must show your Level 1 pass certificate at enrolment. All students will be required to be interviewed prior to enrolling onto the course and during your discussion your tutor will agree the best process choice for you.

Your tutor will agree your chosen welding process with you at the interview before you start. The course covers one welding process within the fee. You can register for an additional process at extra cost if you complete the first successfully.
