You'll need a Level 1 Diploma in Furniture Making and an initial assessment in maths and English at Level 1 or above to join. Who this course is for
This qualification is a basic craft introduction to the Furniture Making industry. This course gives you the knowledge and skills to enable you to achieve a recognised Furniture Making trade qualification which could lead to employment or an apprenticeship. Essential Requirements- you must have:----Achieved Level 1 Diploma in Furniture Making--an initial assessment in Maths and English at level 1 or above--Demonstrate a high degree of enthusiasm and a commitment to succeed and prepare effectively for employment----Desirable Requirements:----Achieved 3 GCSEs grade D and above including Maths and English--An attendance record at college in excess of 90%--A strong commitment to adopt a 'work ready' approach, taking responsibility for your own development and behaviour--Completed 30 hours or more of work experience within the construction industry--
