Who this course is for

The Level 2 Award in CCTV Operations (Public Space Surveillance) qualification has been developed to meet the training and licensing requirements of the Security Industry Authority (SIA).It will give CCTV operators the skills and knowledge to operate CCTV efficiently and effectively, so helping maintain the security of a workplace. On successful completion of the course, those operators who need a licence to work can apply for a SIA licence, which will enable them to work legally.

Entry requirements

Candidates must be 18 years old or over and have Level 1 in English. Please note that all candidates will be required to complete a paper basedEnglish assessment during the first day of the course and demonstrate Level 1 or above.
