Level 2 Adult Social Care Course in Bristol. Classes run at Ashley Down Centre, one day a week over one year. You'll also spend one day a week in an adult care setting, working alongside care professionals to put your learning into practice. The course covers communication, equality and diversity, safeguarding, health and safety, person-centred approaches, and the role of the social care worker. You'll need two references, a personal interview, and some voluntary or paid experience in a relevant setting. The centre can help you find that experience if you don't have it yet.

Are you interested in working in Adult Social Care? This part-time one year course is for those who wish to develop their knowledge and employability skills to prepare to work with adults in social care. You will study a range of topics related to adult social care and will spend one day a week in an adult care setting. Here you will work alongside care professionals who will help you put your learning into practice. You can then progress to an apprenticeship or work in adult social care.
