Level 1 Wall and Floor Tiling Course in Stoke-on-Trent. Classes run at Construction Skills College.

No previous experience is needed. The course runs full-time over 9 days. You'll learn how to prepare surfaces, set out tiles, cut and fix wall and floor tiles, and finish with grouting. That includes large-format tiles and tiling around obstacles like baths, pipes, and window openings. You'll also learn how to price and quote for tiling jobs.

You'll finish with a Level 1 Award in Wall and Floor Tiling Skills.

How you will learn

This is a hands-on, practical course. You'll work in individual training bays with all tools and materials provided. Learning is practical throughout, with tutor guidance as you complete real tiling tasks. Assessment is based on the work you produce during the course.
