About this course

Level 1 IT At Work Course in Bristol. Classes run at College Green Centre, full-time during the day, over one year. You'll develop practical ICT skills across a range of everyday computing tasks. The level 1 it at work qualification suits those with few or no GCSEs who want to build a foundation in IT. Entry requirements include at least three GCSEs at grade E or above, including English and Maths, or an Entry Level 3 vocational qualification.

Do you want to start planning for a career in IT but you're not sure where to start? Do you enjoy working with and learning about computers? On this course, you will develop your ICT skills and build towards a career in IT.--We offer this course at our College Green City Centre Campus and our South Bristol Skills Academy Site.

Entry requirements

Level 1 courses are predominantly for those who have little of no GCSE's. We accept a range of qualifications which will ideal should include at least 3 GCSEs at grade E or above, including English and Maths (or equivalent) or successful completion of an Entry Level 3 vocational qualification.----School Leavers with below E grades of equivalents--Over 19s returning to education (subject to funding - see below in additional costs)--

How you will learn

You'll learn through classroom-based sessions at College Green Centre. Assessment is through portfolio work and practical tasks that demonstrate your skills. You'll build up evidence of what you can do as you progress through the course. There are no written exams.
