Teaching Assistant Level 3 Course. Work-based training at your workplace. You study while working in a school or learning environment, building skills on the job over 12 months. An Advanced Learning Loan may fund the course for qualifying learners, similar to a university loan. You'll need English at Level 1 and an employer placement with an Enhanced DBS check. The course covers the knowledge and practical competence needed for a level 3 teaching assistant qualification, assessed through written work, professional discussion, and observation.
Who this course is for
A course to provide the necessary skills and competence to become fully qualified in the profession as a Teaching Assistant or Learning mentor. The course is achieved through a process of proving knowledge and competence in - written form, professional discussion and observation. We offer a very flexible one to one delivery method which allows us to work around a student's other commitments. We think it particularly suits returners to the workforce once their children are in school. What we call "My Time"
