Entry requirements

-It is recommended that you hold a Level 2 in Supporting Teaching & Learning qualification.

-You must be in paid or voluntary employment both Supervising and being responsible for children for a minimum of one full day per week.

How you will learn

You'll attend evening classes at Ashton Sixth Form College one or more evenings per week. Learning is classroom based, combining taught sessions with work-based practice in your school or education setting. Assessment includes written assignments, observations in your workplace, and a portfolio of evidence drawn from your day-to-day role. Your assessor will observe you working with pupils as part of the assessment process.
