Studying for this qualification is a prime opportunity to develop theoretical knowledge and understanding of the education and childcare sectors, as well as the holistic needs of children.Importantly, you will gain valuable experience working in Early Years settings, which will ultimately lead to you obtaining your Early Years Educator status.As a student, you will focus on occupational specialisms in depth. You will then evidence your understanding through a series of synoptic, external assessments under controlled supervision.

Five GCSEs at grades 5 - 9 including:*English Language*MathsYou must have undertaken a work placement for five days in an Early Years setting.Please note, if you wish to progress to a teaching degree, you will also need to have achieved a GCSE grade of 4 or above in Maths English Language and Science.
