About this course

Free Pearson Edexcel Level 5 Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services Course. Work-based training at your workplace. You study while working in a relevant role, applying your learning directly to your day-to-day responsibilities. The course covers leadership and management practice across social care and children and young people's services settings. It typically takes 18 months to complete. To enrol, you'll need at least four GCSEs at grades A - C including English and Maths, be currently employed in a relevant role, and hold Level 2 in Maths and English.

Entry requirements

4 GCSEs grades A-C including English and Maths at least grade D. You should be at least 16 years old and in employment relevant to this qualification.Apprentices must be currently employed and new to management - must posses level 2 in Maths and English

This is a work-based qualification. You learn through your current job role, gathering evidence of your competence in practice. Assessment is portfolio-based, with evidence drawn from your workplace activities. You'll work with an assessor who will observe you in your role and review your evidence.
