Free Level 3 Sport and Physical Activity Course in Scarborough. Classes run full-time at Scarborough Sixth Form College, five days a week during the day. This two-year course covers the science, practice, and business of sport and physical activity. You'll study topics including anatomy and physiology, fitness testing, biomechanics, sports leadership, and risk assessment. The course is funded through the ESFA 16 to 19 years old programme. It builds the knowledge and skills to move into higher education or directly into work in the sport and physical activity sector.

How you will learn
Learning is classroom based, full-time across two years. You'll be assessed through a mix of coursework, practical tasks, and research projects. The course follows an Applied General format, which means assessment is largely assignment based and tied to real sport and physical activity contexts.
