About this course

Free Level 3 End of Life Care Course. Study online at your own pace, fitting learning around your life and commitments.

The course runs over 16 weeks. You'll study the principles of the course, covering topics such as person-centred approaches, communication, pain and symptom management, and supporting families through bereavement. No formal qualifications are needed, though a good level of written English and maths is required. You'll have an initial assessment to confirm the course is the right level for you.

You'll finish with an NCFE Certificate in the Principles of End of Life Care at Level 3.

You study entirely online through distance learning. You'll be allocated a personal tutor who supports you throughout the course. All learning and assessment materials are provided. You submit written assessments, and your tutor gives written feedback on each one. Ongoing support is available through remote tutorials.
