About this course

Level 3 Electrical Installations Course in Leicester. Evening electrical installations classes run at Leicester College Freemen's Park Campus, three evenings over 5 weeks. The course covers the 18th edition of the IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2018) in depth. You'll need a copy of the BS 7671:2018 regulations before you start. Assessment is by a two-hour written examination covering the full content of the regulations. This level 3 electrical installations qualification is a full-cost course. Fees are £425 and no fee remission is available.

Who this course is for

This evening course has been designed for electricians, contractors, and those requiring a working knowledge of the latest edition of the level 3 award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671:2018 qualification. This course is delivered either online or in a classroom over three days and provides in-depth training on the 18th edition of the IET Wiring Regulations and will include a final two-hour examination on the full content of the regulations.

This is a full-cost course. There is no fee remission available and you cannot apply for an advanced learner loan to pay for your fees.

Entry requirements

Be able to understand and use the current IET regulations BS7671:2018 and have use of a copy of BS7671:2018.

How you will learn

Classes are delivered in a classroom at Leicester College Freemen's Park Campus, running from 17:30 to 21:00. Teaching covers the full content of BS 7671:2018 through structured evening sessions over 5 weeks. The course ends with a two-hour written examination on the complete regulations. You must bring your own copy of the BS 7671:2018 IET Wiring Regulations to use during the course.
