Free Level 3 Cookery Patisserie and Confectionary Course in Stoke-on-Trent. Classes run full-time during the day at Stoke-on-Trent College Cauldon Campus. This free cookery patisserie and confectionary course for adults is funded by the government if you don't already hold a full Level 3 qualification. Over 34 weeks, you'll work across the specialist areas of a professional pastry kitchen, covering cakes, pastry, dough and batter products, hot and cold desserts, chocolate work, and sugar work. Patisserie is among the most technically demanding and best-paid sections in a commercial kitchen.

How you will learn

You'll learn through practical, hands-on sessions in a professional kitchen environment at the college. Assessment is through practical tasks and assignments that reflect real commercial kitchen standards. You'll be assessed on your ability to produce finished patisserie and confectionery products to the required specification, alongside any underpinning knowledge components set by City and Guilds.
