Level 3 Childcare and Education Course in Plymouth. Classes run at Achievement Training Plymouth, part-time during the day. If you're 16 to 18 years old, the course may be free. If you're 19 or over, an Advanced Learner Loan or grant may be available to cover costs. Classes cover child development from conception to seven years, children's health and wellbeing, safe environments, play and learning, and children's additional needs. You'll need a grade 4 or above in English and Maths, or a Level 2 Childcare Qualification to enrol. The course typically takes 6 months.

How you will learn
All units are assessed internally and graded A* to D. You'll also complete an extended assessment that is set and marked externally. Alongside classroom learning, you'll spend time in a workplace setting, putting what you've learned into practice. Classes are delivered face-to-face at Achievement Training Plymouth.
