Free BTEC National Extended Certificate in Business Course in Saint Helens. Classes run at Carmel College, full-time over two years.

The course covers marketing, personal and business finance, event management, international business, and principles of management. Who this course is for

The BTEC Level 3 in Business at Carmel College gives every learner the opportunity to develop a real understanding of what is involved, both theoretically and practically, in becoming an effective business professional. We try to give you a greater involvement with businesses, so more trips to businesses, more research of real businesses, a work placement in the second year and a greater development of the personal skills you will need to succeed in the business world. The Extended Certificate is a single qualification which is the equivalent to 1 A Level.

Entry requirements

Students should be aged 16 to 18 years old. You will need grade 4 in GCSE Maths and GCSE English Language.

Classes are delivered in the classroom at Carmel College, full-time during the day.
