Free Level 2 Beauty Therapy Studies Course in Yeovil. Classes run at Yeovil College, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. You'll also complete 60 hours of work experience in a salon or spa. Entry requires GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above, though a grade 3 in one subject will be considered. Who this course is for
The Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Studies is a qualification that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills by covering the following mandatory units; facial skincare, waxing, eyelash and eyebrow treatments, manicure, pedicure, client care and health and safety. You will also develop knowledge and understanding of the practical skills learned throughout this qualification. The purpose of this qualification is to develop your skills in beauty therapy to a high level of occupational ability, to enable you to perform your own salon services.
Entry requirements
Maths and English Grades 4 and above are required for this qualification. A Grade 3 in either English OR Maths will be considered. You will be required to take part in a practical skills scan that will help us determine your starting point. This may alter the Level we place you on.
