Level 3 Animal Management Course in Scunthorpe. Classes run at North Lindsey College, full-time during the day. If you're 16 to 18 years old, the course may be free. If you're 19 or over, fees may apply depending on your prior qualifications and personal circumstances. You'll study both theory and practical elements, with hands-on sessions in the college's purpose-built animal care centre. Topics include animal health and husbandry, animal behaviour, biological systems, animal nursing, wildlife and ecology, and animal training. The course takes one year to complete.
Who this course is for
If you are passionate about animal care, animal science and are looking to progress onto university or work in the animal care industry, then this course is for you. Equivalent to 2 or 3 A levels. The course is made up of theory and practical elements, practical being taught within the College’s purpose-built animal care centre.
