Free Level 3 Adult Care Course. Work-based training at your workplace. You train while you work, so your day-to-day role in a care setting becomes part of your learning. You'll need to be employed in a care setting for at least 6 hours per week to join. Over 18 months, you'll cover communication, safeguarding, person-centred practice, health and safety, mental capacity, and infection prevention. The course suits people supporting adults in residential care, home care, hospitals, or supported living. Optional drop-in sessions at Loughborough College are available for extra support.

How you will learn
You learn through your work. Assessment is based on evidence gathered in your workplace, including observations, professional discussions, and written work. Learning is blended: most of it happens on the job, with optional drop-in sessions at Loughborough College available for additional support. Enrolment is roll-on roll-off, so you can start at any point in the year. The programme runs over 18 months.
