About this course

Free Level 2 Working with Individuals with Learning Disabilities Course. Study online at your own pace, fitting learning around your existing commitments. Around 1.5 million people in the UK have a learning disability, and this free working with individuals with learning disabilities course gives you the knowledge to support them well. You'll study legislation, the healthcare system, and how to recognise signs and symptoms of various conditions. The course takes around 143 hours in total. You must be aged 19 or over and have lived in the EU for at least three years at the start of the course.

Who this course is for

Around 1.5 million people in the UK have a learning disability. Owing to the fact that they are likely to find it more difficult than others to describe their symptoms, a good knowledge of legislation and the healthcare system, as well as an understanding of signs and symptoms of various conditions, is essential for anyone working with individuals with learning disabilities.

Entry requirements

The prospective learner has to be aged 19 and above, and has lived in the EU for at least 3 years at the start of the course.
