Free Level 2 Trowel Occupations (Construction) Course in Castleford. Classes run at Castleford College on Monday evenings, with two block weeks in December and January. You need to be working as a bricklayer before you start. The trowel occupations (construction) qualification is assessed in your workplace, so your on-the-job experience counts toward your evidence. Units cover health and safety, productive working practices, moving and storing resources, and erecting and setting out masonry structures. The course takes 18 months part-time.

You'll compile a Portfolio of Evidence to demonstrate how you've met each requirement.
