Free Level 2 Teaching Assistant Course in Burton-on-Trent. Classes run at Burton Town Centre Campus, part-time during the day. You'll need a Level 1 subject-specific qualification or relevant experience to join. Who this course is for
This course is designed for those who are, or are going to be volunteering or working in an educational establishment (classroom based) and want a qualification that proves your skills and knowledge. This qualification will enable you to work with children and young people aged 4-19 years, covering topics such as promoting positive behaviour, supporting a range of learners, helping children's social development and building resilience, safeguarding and health and safety. This course requires you to be in your placement for a minimum of 1 day per week and on average 4-5 hours of selfstudy per week for research and written evidence
