About this course

Free Level 2 Site Carpentry Course in Scarborough. Classes run at Scarborough TEC, full-time during the day. You'll spend around 10 months building the practical and technical skills carpenters use on site every day. The course covers setting out, first and second fix carpentry, and working safely with timber and tools. You'll work toward the City and Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Site Carpentry, a site carpentry qualification that employers in construction recognise. Level 2 Site Carpentry is a step toward the Level 3 NVQ that carpenters need for a CSCS skilled-worker card.
