Who this course is for
The purpose of this qualification is to increase the learner?s knowledge and awareness of the Prevent Duty and safeguarding, including online safety. By completing the qualification, learners will develop knowledge of safeguarding in an environment where they have a duty of care.

A diagnosed learning need at this level from assessments and no previous qualifications in this area at the same/or higher level

How you will learn
You'll study in a classroom at PHX Training Preston, with flexible daytime attendance over 2 weeks. Learning is knowledge-based and assessed through written assignments or short-answer questions that check your understanding of safeguarding and Prevent. There are no practical exams. Your tutor will guide you through the material and support you throughout.
