About this course

Level 2 Principles of End of Life Care Course. Study online at your own pace, fitting learning around your work and home life. The course takes around 12 weeks to complete. The provider has made funding available to cover the full cost, regardless of your age.

You'll study the principles behind high-quality end of life care. Topics include the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of people nearing the end of life, supporting families, communication, and legal and ethical considerations. This qualification is relevant whether you work in care already or are preparing to do so.

You'll finish with a TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Principles of End of Life Care.

This period in a persons life is the most difficult and emotional to deal with for the individual, the family and any carers or staff members who work with the individual. This course is suitable for those who work, or wish to work, in the healthcare sector or need to care for a loved one during this difficult time. The level 2 certificate is the perfect place to start and will equip you to provide quality end-of-life care.
