About this course

Level 2 Principles of End of Life Care Course. Study online at your own pace, fitting learning around your work and home life. The course is funded for all learners regardless of age, so there is no cost to you.

Over around 12 weeks, you'll explore how to support individuals and their families through the final stages of life. Topics include person-centred care, communication, pain and symptom management, and the emotional needs of those involved. You'll also look at legal and ethical considerations in end of life care.

You'll finish with a TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Principles of End of Life Care.

This period in a persons life is the most difficult and emotional to deal with for the individual, the family and any carers or staff members who work with the individual. This course is suitable for those who work, or wish to work, in the healthcare sector or need to care for a loved one during this difficult time. The level 2 certificate is the perfect place to start and will equip you to provide quality end-of-life care.
