Free Level 2 Personal Licence Holders Course in St Albans. Classes run at Oaklands College St Albans Campus, part-time during the day. The course runs on the last Friday of every month, subject to minimum numbers, and takes one week to complete. You'll cover the law and licensing conditions that personal licence holders must understand to sell alcohol legally in England and Wales. This personal licence holders qualification is a practical step toward applying for a personal licence from your local authority.

The course will be delivered in our onsite Stables restaurant by our head chef and it will cost �150 and will include lunch and refreshments.

What you will learn
You'll learn the key provisions of the Licensing Act 2003 and how they apply to licence holders.
You'll understand the roles and responsibilities of a designated premises supervisor.
You'll identify the conditions attached to premises licences and how to comply with them.
You'll recognise the consequences of breaching licensing law, including licence reviews and criminal penalties.
You'll learn how to promote the four licensing objectives: crime prevention, public safety, nuisance prevention, and child protection.
You'll understand the process for applying for a personal licence.
How you will learn
You'll learn through classroom-based sessions at the college. Assessment is by a multiple-choice examination set by the awarding body. You must pass this exam to receive your Award for Personal Licence Holders certificate, which is required when applying for a personal licence.

The centre will provide most materials. Oaklands College St Albans Campus will confirm anything else you need before you start.
