This course is a stepping stone to securing a Full time Engineering Apprenticeship; this course focuses on the skills developed throughout the Level 1 course and looks into the industry in a little more depth, You will be: Assembling mechanical components. Preparing and using lathes. Producing mechanical components. Producing composite assemblies. Stripping and rebuilding Motorsport vehicles. General fabrication and welding applications. Using and communicating technical information. Cutting and shaping plate work components. Carrying out engineering activities efficiently and effectively.

The course will also include the following core skills: Teamwork/Employee Rights & Responsibilities CV & Interview Skills Workshop Level 1 Functional Skills English Level 1 Functional Skills Maths

Entry requirements

You must be between the ages of 16-18. There are no formal academic entry requirements; however an initial selection interview is mandatory.
