About this course

Level 2 Performing and Production Arts Course in Nottingham. Classes run at Nottingham College City Hub, full-time during the day. Students aged 16 to 18 years old do not pay tuition fees. If you are 19 or over, fees may apply, though funding may still be available.

The course runs for one year. You choose a pathway in acting, dance, or performing arts. Acting units cover character development, voice, and devising. Dance units explore contemporary, jazz, ballet, and commercial styles. You build technique, stage presence, and creative skills through workshops, rehearsals, and live performances.

You'll need four GCSEs at grades A* to D, including English Language and Maths. You finish with a University of the Arts London Diploma in Performing and Production Arts.

Entry requirements

You'll need 4 GCSEs at grades 9-3 (A*-D), including English Language and Maths - one of English Language or Maths must be grade 9-4 (A*-C).

Functional Skills Level 1 can be used as equivalent to GCSE grade 3 (D) and Functional Skills Level 2 can be used as equivalent to GCSE grade 4 (C) or above.
