About this course

Free Level 2 Performing and Production Arts Course in Tonbridge. Classes run at North Kent College Tonbridge. This full-time daytime course runs for one year and covers acting, movement, singing, technical theatre, storytelling, and writing for performance. You'll explore different genres and modes of performance, developing skills as a performer, theatre-maker, and arts facilitator. The course gives you the tools to create your own work and engage with live performance processes. A performing and production arts qualification at this level is a strong foundation for further study or entry-level roles in the arts.

Who this course is for

If you have a passion for performing arts and want to develop your skills as a performer, theatre-maker and arts facilitator, this is the course for you. In your training at Miskin Tonbridge you will develop skills and learn about different genres and modes of performance to equip you to develop your own innovative work. Throughout the course you will engage with processes of acting, technical theatre, movement, singing, storytelling and writing for performance. This course enables you to consider and gain experience curating performance events for a range of audiences, particularly within the community settings. These skills will also help your development in teaching, workshop leadership, directing, producing and becoming an all-round performer.
