About this course

Free Level 2 Mental Health First Aid Course. Study online. You can work through the materials at your own pace, with no need to travel to a centre. The course covers mental health problems, how to support colleagues, and how to advocate for better mental health in the workplace. It takes around 12 weeks to complete. You'll need to be 19 or older, eligible to study in the UK, and have access to a laptop or desktop computer with a stable internet connection.

Entry requirements

You will need to be:

aged 19 or older on 31 August in the year you wish to study be eligible to study in the UK, with 'in-date' evidence that shows that you will be resident in the UK for the duration of the course and not currently studying an apprenticeship programme

You will also need access to a computer (laptop or desktop), and a stable internet connection, to access our interactive online learning platform.

How you will learn

This is a distance learning course. You'll receive comprehensive learning materials to study online through an interactive platform. A qualified assessor will support you throughout. Assessment is by a series of written tasks completed within set timeframes. Your assessor marks these to produce the evidence needed to meet the requirements of the NCFE qualification.
