About this course

Free Level 2 Hospitality Course in Ipswich. Classes run full-time at Suffolk New College, five days a week during the day. The course takes one year to complete. You'll cover the skills and knowledge needed to work across hospitality settings, from food and beverage service to customer care and teamwork. To join, you'll need three GCSEs at Grade 3 or above, including maths and/or English, or a Level 1 qualification with maths and/or English at Level 1.

How you will learn

You'll learn through classroom sessions and practical, hands-on activities at Suffolk New College. Assessment is through a combination of observations in the workplace or simulated environments, written assignments, and a portfolio of evidence. Your assessor will observe you carrying out hospitality tasks and review your work against the NVQ standards throughout the year.
