Free Level 2 Hairdressing Course in Birmingham. Classes run at Reflections Training Academy. This full-time daytime hairdressing course runs for 7 months and covers the core skills of women's hairdressing. You'll work toward a City and Guilds level 2 hairdressing qualification, learning cutting, colouring, and styling techniques. There are no entry requirements, so you can start without previous qualifications. A level 2 hairdressing certificate opens the door to salon work as a qualified hairdresser.

This course will suit you if you are 16-19 and just starting out in hairdressing or have some knowledge and basic skills from working under supervision such as a salon junior. How you will learn
You'll learn through hands-on practical sessions in a salon training environment, alongside classroom-based theory. Assessment includes practical observations, where an assessor watches you carry out hairdressing services, and written or online tests covering the underpinning knowledge. You'll build a portfolio of evidence as you progress through the course.
