You'll cover the core skills professional hairdressers use every day, from cutting and colouring to client care. The course runs for approximately 10 months. How you will learn
You'll learn through practical sessions in a salon environment alongside classroom study. Assessment includes observed practical work, where an assessor watches you carry out hairdressing services, and written or online tests covering underpinning knowledge. You'll build a portfolio of evidence as you progress through the course.
