Free Level 2 Barbering Course in Beverley. Classes run at Flemingate Centre, full-time during the day. You'll cover the core skills of professional barbering: cutting, styling, and grooming techniques for a range of clients. The course runs for around 10 months. This free barbering course is open to school leavers and leads to work as a barber or in a hairdressing salon.

What you will learn
You'll learn how to cut men's hair using a range of techniques, including scissor and clipper work.
You'll develop skills in beard and facial hair shaping and grooming.
You'll practise shampooing, conditioning, and scalp treatments.
You'll learn how to consult with clients and identify the right services for them.
You'll understand health, safety, and hygiene standards in a barbering environment.
You'll develop skills in styling and finishing for different hair types and textures.
How you will learn
You'll learn through hands-on practical sessions in a barbering environment, alongside classroom-based theory. Assessment includes practical observations of your barbering skills and written or online tests covering underpinning knowledge. You'll build a portfolio of evidence as you progress through the course.
