Free Level 2 Equine Care Course in Beverley. Classes run at Bishop Burton College, full-time during the day, over one year. You'll study horse care through a mix of classroom sessions, practical work, and external work placement. What you will learn

How you will learn
You'll learn through a combination of classroom sessions, practical sessions at the Equine Centre, and external work placement. You'll normally be in college three days a week. Weekend duties are timetabled, roughly one day per month. Assessment uses a variety of methods drawn from the qualification spec. The 60% theory and 40% practical split means you'll build both knowledge and hands-on skills throughout the year.

The centre will provide most materials. Bishop Burton College will confirm anything else you need before you start. If you're taking the riding option, note that a maximum weight limit of 13 stone applies, and you'll need to demonstrate a suitable level of riding ability at entry.
