About this course

Free Level 2 Equality and Diversity Course. Study online at a pace that suits you, with no need to travel to a centre. You'll cover personal and social identities, beliefs and values, stereotyping and labelling, and prejudice and discrimination. The course takes around 12 weeks and is available on demand, so you can start when you're ready. You'll need to be aged 19 or older on 31 August in the year you enrol, eligible to study in the UK, and have access to a laptop or desktop with a stable internet connection.

Entry requirements

You will need to be:

aged 19 or older on 31 August in the year you wish to study be eligible to study in the UK, with 'in-date' evidence that shows that you will be resident in the UK for the duration of the course and not currently studying an apprenticeship programme

You will also need access to a computer (laptop or desktop), and a stable internet connection, to access our interactive online learning platform.

  • You'll develop awareness of hate crime, its forms, and its impact on communities.

How you will learn

You'll study through an interactive online learning platform using comprehensive distance learning materials. A tutor and assessor will support you throughout. Assessment is by a series of written tasks completed within set timeframes. A qualified assessor marks your work and uses it to produce the evidence needed to meet the qualification requirements. There are no exams to sit in person.
