Level 2 Engineering Course in Cambridge. Classes run at Cambridge Regional College, full-time during the day.

The course covers a broad range of engineering topics over one year. You'll study engineering maths and science, electrical and electronic principles, welding, turning and milling, and computer aided design. Environmental awareness and core engineering techniques are also included. You'll need three GCSEs at Grade 3 or above, including English or Maths, to enrol.

You'll finish with a Level 2 Diploma in Engineering Technologies.

The Level 2 Diploma in Engineering Technologies is a qualification designed to develop practical skills and build related theory knowledge within engineering. The course is designed to be broad in content and increase awareness of what a potential engineer will face within the trade.

The development of practical English and Maths skills will be an essential part of your programme. If you do not have GCSE English and Maths at grade C minimum, you will be required to retake these subjects as part of your study programme. IT will be embedded in the delivery of your specialist skills. The study programme will also include Personal and Professional skills that will develop your employability, helping towards finding you a career in the Engineering industry. You will also undertake work experience.
