Level 2 Dog Grooming Assistant Course in Norwich. Classes run at Easton College one day a week, part-time over 34 weeks. If you are 16 to 18 years old on 31 August before your course starts, tuition is free. If you are 19 or over, fees may apply. No prior qualifications or experience are needed, just a willingness to work with dogs. You will cover both practical grooming skills and the theory behind canine care. The course is taught over 34 weeks, following the academic calendar year and offers a flexible one day a week schedule that perfectly suits those looking to enter the dog grooming industry. It is designed for complete beginners and has no formal entry requirements, just a passion for dogs! The hands on program will equip you with the practical skills and theoretical knowledge needed to excel in the world of dog grooming. At Easton College we offer you a professional salon environment equipped with the latest grooming tools and are taught by experienced and professional staff who are dedicated to your success. We have courses on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Times 9-4pm. Please note that you are expected to purchase the following, a selection of comb attachments and blades ( where we have a deal direct with the supplier for approximately �130.00). In addition to this you will be expected to purchase independently for scissors (approximately �25.00).
Entry requirements
Open to students aged 19 and over. No specific prior qualifications, learning or experience is required for you to undertake this qualification. However, due to the nature of both the learning and assessment required for the qualification is such that you will need to demonstrate good literacy skills.
