About this course

Level 2 Diploma Electrical Installations Course in Nottingham. Classes run at Nottingham College Highfields Campus, full-time during the day. If you're 16 to 18 years old, tuition fees may not apply. If you're 19 or over, you may still be eligible for funding. You'll study the science of electricity and how it is generated, transmitted, and installed. The course covers practical skills including containment systems, wiring, accessories, switchgear, and machinery. A 30-hour work placement is part of the programme.

Entry requirements

You will need 4 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above including both English Language and Maths.

Progressing students must have successfully completed the Electrical Installation Level 1 course, have achieved English Language and Maths at grade 4 (C) and passed a progression assessment.
