About this course

Level 2 Diploma Electrical Installations Course in Leicester. Classes run at Leicester College Freemen's Park Campus, one evening a week from 17:30 to 21:00. The course runs over 35 weeks and covers both domestic and commercial electrical installation. You'll work through five units including health and safety in building services, principles of electrical science, electrical installations, installation of wiring systems, and communication within building services engineering. This is a stepping stone toward Level 3, which is the level needed to work as a qualified electrician.

Covering all aspects of domestic and commercial installation, this one-year course will develop your practical electrical installation skills. Aimed at adults (19+) the course is a stepping stone to level 3 which is the required level to be recognised as a qualified tradesperson. You will have access to our industry-standard facilities and expert teaching to support your studies.
