Free Level 2 Digital Skills Course in Whitehaven. Classes run at Whitehaven Archive Centre, part-time during the day over 16 weeks.

The course builds on existing digital knowledge and covers core areas of digital and IT skills used in everyday life and at work. You'll develop practical skills across a range of digital tasks, from using devices and software to staying safe online and communicating digitally. You'll need some prior experience of digital and IT before you start.

You'll finish with a Gateway Qualifications Level 2 Award in Digital and IT Skills.

Who this course is for

The qualification provides learners with the essential digital skills which are needed in a wide range of situations in life and at work. Learners will develop knowledge and understanding of the core areas of Digital and an introduction to the skills required in the Digital sector.

Entry requirements

Learners will be required to take an initial assessment prior to starting this course to make sure they are on the right level for them and to ensure they have the necessary underpinning knowledge and skills to undertake the course

Learners are expected to have some prior knowledge and experience of digital and IT skills, for example the Essential Digital Skills Qualification Level 1.

This course is not suitable for the complete Beginner.
