About this course

Free Level 2 Cyber Security Course. Study online. You can work through the course at your own pace, logging in whenever suits you. Over 12 weeks, you'll cover cyber security terminology, common threats, legal and ethical responsibilities, and how to protect systems in the workplace. This free cyber security course for adults is open to learners aged 19 and over who are eligible to study in the UK. You'll need a laptop or desktop computer and a stable internet connection.

Entry requirements

You will need to be:

aged 19 or older on 31 August in the year you wish to study be eligible to study in the UK, with 'in-date' evidence that shows that you will be resident in the UK for the duration of the course and not currently studying an apprenticeship programme

You will also need access to a computer (laptop or desktop), and a stable internet connection, to access our interactive online learning platform.

How you will learn

You'll study through an interactive online learning platform, available at any time. Assessment is by an online portfolio of evidence, including written tasks and essay-style questions. An assessor will mark your work and give you written feedback throughout the course.
