Free Level 2 Childcare Course. Study online. You can work through the course at your own pace, fitting study around your other commitments. It covers the foundations of caring for children and young people, including their development, wellbeing, and safeguarding. The course typically takes 6 months. You'll need to be aged 19 or over and have lived in the UK for at least 3 years to be eligible for funding.

How you will learn
You'll study entirely online, working through course materials in your own time. Assessment is through written assignments and portfolio-based tasks that you submit online. There are no exams. You'll complete evidence to demonstrate your understanding of each topic area covered in the qualification.
