About this course

Free Level 2 Childcare Course. Study online. You can work through the course at your own pace, fitting study around your existing commitments. Over 12 weeks, you'll cover the knowledge and skills needed to support the care and development of children and young people. The course is open to adults aged 19 or over who live in England.

Entry requirements

Eligible participants must be aged 19 or over on 31 August of the current academic year, reside in England on the first day of learning. Further eligiblity criteria may apply.

How you will learn

You'll study entirely online, working through course materials at your own pace. Assessment is through written assignments and knowledge-based tasks completed online. You submit your work digitally, and a tutor will review and mark it. There are no exams to sit in person.
