About this course

You'll need to be in a job or work placement that gives you the chance to practise and demonstrate your skills. Basic computer skills are also required.

Who this course is for

This qualification aims to assess and develop the knowledge and skills of people working in a variety of healthcare settings as Healthcare Assistants or Auxiliary Nurses.

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements except a College interview, and you must be at least 16 years of age. However, since this qualification is assessed in the workplace, you need a job or work placement which offers you suitable experience and the chance to demonstrate the necessary skills.

Basic computer skills are essential.
